PUNS was very excited to hold an extremely successful Annual Meeting on October 23, 2014 at the Loews Hotel in Miami with over 100 professionals in attendance. The meeting was held in conjunction with the Pediatric Urology Fall Congress and attendees enjoyed 4 days of scientific sessions and social events.

The PUNS Annual Meeting program kicked off with a presentation on Hydronephrosis by Anthony Herndon, MD and was followed by four innovative abstract presentations from our colleagues. After a short break to visit with our industry colleagues, MaryEllen Kelly gave an update on how constipation is related to UTIs and incontinence.

A panel discussion "The Role of the Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric Urology" addressed the various roles and responsibilities of the advanced nurse practitioner and provided an in-depth look at the many different "jobs" performed by urology NPs. Marlo Eldridge led a hands-on demonstration and presentation on the Basics of Biofeedback in the Pediatric Population, along with representatives from Laborie and Prometheus demonstrating the equipment.
